I made this back in 2009 for an undergraduate class which had us working with Arduino units. Basically, by using an Arduino with an accelerometer attached to your wrist, you are able to trigger/control guitar effects that are created via MaxMSP. With the guitar hooked up to the computer, you can then play while using your body as a controller. This would replace the need to use traditional effect pedals that require your foot to press.
The video is admittedly horrible, but it gets the concept across. It’s been six years (as of this post) since I made this, so I may re-visit and refine the project eventually.
