I decided to set up a dedicated TF2 server on my home server.
I had actually been wanting to set up a dedicated game server of some sort since I got my home server, but never got around to it for various reasons. I’ve finally bit the bullet though, and a TF2 server is live and ready to play on. It’s currently running a Payload map rotation, which I’ll probably stick with, as it’s my favourite game mode. I still have some configuration files to play with, but it’s live and open to the public. I’ll add a daily message, tweak some server rules, and add a few plugins over the coming days. I don’t see many people from the public playing on it (given the thousands of available server), but it’ll be nice to host some games with friends.
